Celina Adams, LMT, BS, earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology with an emphasis in Sports Medicine from Brigham Young University–Idaho (2025) and completed massage training at Rexburg College of Massage Therapy (2023). She has experience as a Sports Medicine Teaching Assistant, tutoring and assisting with instruction in anatomy, massage techniques, therapeutic modalities, and injury analysis. She is licensed in Idaho and Utah and teaches Sports 1 & 2, Applied Anatomy, and Pathology at the Orem campus.
Josh Ashcraft, LMT, graduated from the Utah College of Massage Therapy in 2005 with a Certificate of Massage Therapy. He brings over twenty years of professional experience, including CranioSacral Therapy I and II through the Upledger Institute. His career includes fifteen years in high-end spas and six years in recovery and chiropractic clinics. Joshua is deeply passionate about nutrition, holistic self-care, and his long-term vision is to help create a world where safe, healthy touch is taught and reinforced throughout life. Joshua teaches Craniosacral, Massage 1, Business Basics, Career Development, Energetic Anatomy, Ethics and the Law, Myofascial Release, and Reflexology at the Orem campus.
Melissa Collins, LMT, AS, ERYT, graduated from Devry University with an Associate Degree in Web Graphic Design in 2015 and from UCMT with a Certificate of Massage Therapy in 2016. She has nine years of experience as a massage therapist working in spas and maintaining a private practice, twelve years of experience teaching yoga and meditation, and eight years as a Reiki Master, blending her expertise in massage therapy, holistic wellness, and education. Melissa embraces being a student of life, always seeking to expand her skills and understanding through education, travel, and new experiences. Melissa is the Program Supervisor at the Orem campus and teaches Career Development.
Sarah Davis, LMT, graduated in 2009 with a Certificate of Massage Therapy from the Center for Massage and is certified in manual lymphatic drainage, specializing in post-operative and oncology care. She has managed clinical teams delivering prescribed medical massage and is passionate about bodywork’s power to transform lives. Sarah approaches her work as both a practitioner and educator, supporting clients as accountability partners on their wellness journeys. She believes massage therapy is a lifestyle—one rooted in balance, continued learning, and lasting change. Sarah teaches Communications, Seated Chair Massage, and is the Spa Manager at the Orem campuses.
Kelcee Dinehart, LMT, completed her 1,000-hour Massage Apprenticeship Program in Utah, earning her Certificate of Massage Therapy in 2013. With over fifteen years of hands-on experience, she has built and maintained a successful private practice. She has worked in the medical massage industry and with local therapeutic companies such as Young Living and DoTerra. Kelcee brings her passion for massage therapy into her classroom instruction with her philosophy centering on the idea that true learning happens through experience. Kelcee is an Instructor of Anatomy & Physiology, Pathology, Medical Terminology, and Kinesiology at the Orem campus.
John Edwards, BS, graduated from Utah Valley University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He worked as a cost accountant, an accountant, and for the past several years as a charter school Business Manager. In John’s free time he enjoys being in nature with his family scuba diving, taking underwater photography, skiing, bicycling, hiking, and camping. John is the school accountant working out of the SLC campus.
Mimi Flower, LMT, is a 2009 graduate of HMMS with a Certificate of Massage Therapy. After graduation, Mimi went on to train extensively in structural integration modalities including integrative neurosomatic therapy through Paul St. John in Florida. She currently teaches Anatomy & Physiology, Pathology, Kinesiology, and Massage Therapy 3 at the Orem campus.
Kyle Hemming, MA, MKin, is a CSCS Strength & Conditioning Specialist, ACSM Exercise Physiologist, and American Heart Association First Aid & CPR provider. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University (2011), a Master of Kinesiology from California State University Long Beach (2013), and a Master of Science in Education from Western Governors University (2020). Kyle has taught Anatomy and Physiology for the past five years, previously served as adjunct faculty teaching biology at Brigham Young University, and has experience in rehabilitation clinics, research on muscle tissue loss therapies, and health education. He teaches Anatomy and Physiology at the Orem campus and focuses on helping students understand how anatomical structure and physiological function work together through clear concepts and real-world application.
Jeremy Kellum, LMT, MBA, graduated from Healing Touch School of Massage Therapy in 2003 with a Certificate of Massage Therapy. He got his Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2012 and his Masters of Business Administration from Western Governors University in 2022. He specializes in connective tissue and injury-related massage. He has worked on rehabilitating professional and semi-professional athletes and has been a massage instructor, beginning in the state of Mississippi, since 2006. Jeremy is Healing Mountain’s school director and Board Chair on the SLC Board of Directors.
Erin Morris, LMT, graduated with a Certificate of Massage Therapy from the National Holistic Institute in 1999 and has been a massage instructor since 2008. She has practiced in clinical and sports settings, working on athletes as well as the general public, focusing on myofascial and somatic bodywork. Her first healing experience was in 1995 as she learned and started to practice Reiki. She has brought her experience and knowledge of energy work into all her practices. Erin teaches Sports Massage, Energetic Anatomy, Pathology, and Myofascial Release at the Orem Campus.
Nerissa McNeil, AAS, graduated from BYU–Idaho in 2022 with a degree in Marriage and Family Services. Passionate about helping others achieve their goals, she finds joy in seeing people flourish and pursue their dreams. As Admissions Director, she oversees admissions while continuing to serve as the Orem campus Admissions Representative and providing Career Services support. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and furthering her education in psychology.
Aaron Nikola completed the Crystal Healing course at HMMS in 2005. Since then, he has actively practiced Crystal Healing and Chakra Layouts. In 2006, he began incorporating his crystal healing expertise into the massage field by teaching and working with both clients and students. Aaron is also a silversmith who integrates healing crystals into his designs. In 2011, he became the manager of the Healing Mountain Crystal Shop. Aaron graduated from the school’s Massage Program in 2013 and became a faculty member at Healing Mountain Massage School in 2017. Furthermore, from 2018 - 2023, Aaron taught the Sound Healing course for Healing Mountain’s Holistic Health Practitioner program. He continues to practice Sound Healing privately, sharing his knowledge and passion for using sound as a healing modality.
Jesse Nikola, LMT, BFA, graduated from HMMS in 2000 with a Certificate of Massage Therapy, and furthered his education from SLCC with an Associate of Visual Art and Design in Multimedia, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from UVU in Graphic Communication. He worked as the SLC campus spa director for eight years and SLC campus director for seven years. He currently is the school’s president and chief executive officer.
RJ Nikola, LMT, JCD, BA, is the founder of Healing Mountain. He graduated from UCMT with a Certificate of Massage Therapy, has a JCD in education and a BA in education from BYU. He is the author of Japanese Full-Body Shiatsu and Creatures of Water. Randy served as a commissioner on the ABHES accrediting bureau from 2009-2017, served two terms on the Utah State Massage Board, and is currently a member of the Utah State Massage Therapy Education Peer Committee.
Char Olenik, LMT, graduated from UCMT in 1995 with a Certificate of Massage Therapy, and has practiced massage therapy in various settings throughout Utah. She specializes in spa modalities, and has worked in many high-end resort spas, including the Remede Spa at St. Regis Deer Valley, Solitude Mountain Spa, and Brick Canvas Spa. Char has a passion for education and started teaching for UCMT in 2007, and became director of education for Cortiva Institute in 2014. She has served as a content specialist for the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET), and served as a member of the Utah Massage Education Peer Review Committee. Char teaches Massage 1 & 2, Sports Massage, and Career Development at our Orem campus.
Anna Roller, BFA graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelors in Art History and Political Science in 2022. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, she loves living near the Wasatch Mountains and visiting local parks and recreation areas. She has always had an appreciation for naturopathic and alternative medicines, and was happy to join the administration team at Healing Mountain in 2024 as School Registrar. When she is not working, Anna likes to spend her time at home with her cat, volunteering with various community organizations, or out with family and friends.
Julie Swenson, LMT, BS, graduated with a Bachelor of Science from BYU and later, Myotherapy College with a Certificate in Theraputic Massage. She has worked in hospice doing massage therapy for terminal patients for the last 10 years. She is trained and experienced in craniosacral therapy. She is also certified as a Qigong practitioner. She is experienced in energy and emotional healing work, as well as essential oil use. She loves teaching and encouraging students to gain confidence in the healing arts. Julie teaches Geriatric Health & Wellness at our Orem campus.
Cynthia Uhl, AS, graduated from UVU in 2023 with an Associate of Science in Humanities and Social Science. She brings three years of experience in administration, supporting efficient operations and team success. She is passionate about helping others reach their goals, and she thrives on seeing students and colleagues grow. She enjoys hiking, cooking, playing video games, spending time with family, and volunteering on a non-profit board. Cynthia is the Orem campus Admissions Representative.
Melissa Welter, BSBM, MBA, graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2011. Melissa has previously worked for Utah College of Massage Therapy as a regional financial aid director and has been in the financial aid field for almost two decades. Melissa is our school Financial Aid Administrator.
